Gathering Supplies to Get Started
Head out to the nearest craft store to begin this project. The key supply is an unfinished wooden picture frame. These come in various sizes, including 12” x 12” (which holds a 5” x 7” photo) and 7” x 9” (which holds a 4” x 6” photo). A container of Mod Podge (either matte or glossy will do) and a couple of sponge brushes are also necessary.
Scrapbook papers and embellishments can be found at the craft store or a specialty scrapbook store. At least two 12” x 12” sheets of coordinating papers should be purchased for each frame. Embellishments can range from stickers to buttons, from ribbons to rhinestones, and from chipboard to metal. Glue dots or other adhesive should be used to attach embellishments.
